Croatia is one of the hottest destinations and for good reason. It sits on the Adriatic coast and houses more than a thousand islands. The crystal water is perfect for swimming and snorkeling with July’s temperature reaching 75 F (24 C). Rovinj receives more than 12 hours of sunshine per day in July so people flock here in the summer!

Rovinj, one of the most beautiful cities in Croatia and we will be hosted at the Five Elements Guesthouse. It’s rustic, with the perfect amount of charm. We have many adventures in store for you during the 5 days we spend here, but there will be plenty of time to relax and explore local cuisine as well!

Do you need vaccines:
See this website for more details. Make sure you take care of these at least 1 month in advance before the trip.

Each day of the retreat will be dedicated to one of the great five elements (water, Earth, fire, air, and spirit) with hatha yoga inspired by these elements. This retreat benefits all levels of practitioners regardless of where you are in your yoga journey.

Fire: Energetic level – Biking and Fire gathering
Water: Emotional level – Kayaking, swim, snorkel
Wind: Mental level – Windsurfing
Earth: Physical level – Hiking and cave exploration
Spirit: Spiritual level – Yoga and meditation

All yoga & activity equipment will be provided so you don’t need to bring your mat unless you really want to. Everyone can join this retreat and the activities, no matter age, physical condition, or previous experience. If this retreat has more activities than you prefer be sure to check out our customizable retreat the following week!

The Five Elements guesthouse is situated in a quiet neighborhood located between the center of town and Rovinj’s beaches. There are cozy bedrooms, fully equipped apartments, a yoga studio, as well as a garden terrace with a common kitchen and dining area.

Afterwards, she opened her own studio for massage, body care, and recreation. Through the years, Natali attended schools for body care, and specialized in individual medical and Tui Na massage therapy. Natali is now a certified yoga instructor of Ashtanga, Power and Vinyasa flow style, and is currently learning new styles as well. It is yoga that brought her to the Five Elements Guesthouse.

Marin G Vayu was born and raised in Rovinj, Croatia, and has been in the world of yoga for 15 years. He has visited India many times, practicing a variety of different styles of yoga with many different teachers. His other passions include windsurfing, which he taught for several years, and drumming, which he learned to play in Africa. His life has always been centered around teaching people; first windsurfing, then drumming, and later yoga. Marin published his first book Dance Of The Wind in 2009, which is available in English on Amazon.

Please make sure to include “cancel for any reason” coverage to your insurance policy. Get a quote here for travel insurance. Here’s another company.

You must have a valid passport that doesn’t expire for at least 6 months prior to the trip. Please check with your home country to make sure you may enter each country with a travel visa. This website is very helpful.

Use this calculator to find your country’s conversion rate. Be sure to have extra money for food/drinks gifts, clothing, and anything else you may want to buy. The best thing is to use an ATM rather than bringing money to change.
